Blacked out resto Avi on a budget

Description: This is my work in progress.  I bought this old honey new and ran it for 230,000 miles when the front U joint exploded on my main drive shaft at 70 mph.  Took out the back of my original tranny and lifted the back of the truck of the ground about 6 inches.  After getting a fresh rebuild, I was going to sell her.  After checking prices for 5 year old pickups crew cab, I decided if it went that long, maybe she would go longer with some over due maintenance.  So I learned how to butt weld and removed rust and replaced with home made patch panels courtesy of inexpensive Harbour Freight tools.  The results after finish work was completed, was truly amazing.  You cannot tell where I put the panels.  Hooray for Youtube college!
Any way it was a labor of love.  I dipped the truck black and put some new shoes on her and it looks great, if you like the stealth look.  Gonna put a couple of light bars on it, finish with some headers.  I put a Flo Max exhaust on it.  Sounds badass.  Not so happy with the torsion key lift and might change that out.  The plasti dip look is cool looking and easy to repair when needed.
